GTECH REDEEMS OUTSTANDING SENIOR NOTES
On October 2, 2006, GTECH completed the redemption of 100 percent of the principal amount outstanding of each of its three series of senior notes described as follows:
• its 4.75% Senior Notes due 2010 (the “2010 Notes”), issued in October 2003, were redeemed at par;
• its 4.50% Senior Notes due 2009 (the “2009 Notes”), issued in November 2004, were redeemed at par; and
• its 5.25% Senior Notes due 2014 (the “2014 Notes”), issued in November 2004, were redeemed at a premium of $1,030.99 per $1,000.
