As President and CEO of GTECH Corporation, Jaymin Patel is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the Company. He works directly with GTECH's and Lottomatica's management teams to execute the Company's vision in the continuous effort to deliver value to its customers, shareholders, and employees. In May 2007, Patel was named President and Chief Operating Officer of GTECH, and was appointed a member of the Lottomatica Board of Directors in November 2007.
As President and Chief Operating Officer of GTECH, Patel was responsible for managing the Company's operational functions and ensuring that the Company met its corporate objectives and revenue-growth goals. Working with all GTECH operations, Patel managed the development of strategic growth opportunities and the enhancement of technological solutions to strengthen operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, market penetration, and organizational development.
Patel joined GTECH in July of 1994, after approximately five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. Since then, he has had a series of increasingly responsible financial positions within the Company, including Finance Director of GTECH's European and African Operations and Vice President of Financial Planning & Business Evaluation. From January 2000 to April 2007, Patel served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GTECH Corporation, and from August 2006 to April 2007, he also served as Chief Financial Officer of Lottomatica S.p.A.
During his seven years as Chief Financial Officer of GTECH, Patel was instrumental in driving growth across the business, leading several mergers and acquisitions, cost optimization initiatives, and substantially improving the capital efficiency of the Company. Patel's tenure as the Chief Financial Officer culminated in his leading the cross-border financing for the Lottomatica acquisition of GTECH.
Patel holds a BA (honors) degree from Birmingham Polytechnic (UK), and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, London.

As Chairman of GTECH Corporation, Donald Sweitzer is responsible for acting as an ambassador for the Company when interacting with global customers, current and future potential business partners, and government officials. Additionally, Sweitzer will continue to closely advise Lottomatica Group's CEO and GTECH's CEO on government relations and general business affairs.
Prior to becoming Chairman, Sweitzer served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Public Affairs of GTECH, and was responsible for leading the Company’s efforts in identifying and developing new business opportunities in targeted markets and supporting the expansion of GTECH’s products and services in existing jurisdictions, as well as continually enhancing the Company’s communications and services to its worldwide government and commercial clients.
Sweitzer brings more than 20 years of experience in government affairs and consulting services to GTECH. Prior to joining GTECH in July of 1998, Sweitzer was President of the Dorset Resource and Strategy Group, a public affairs consulting firm. A recognized authority on national politics and public affairs, Sweitzer has advised numerous national, statewide, and congressional candidates throughout his career in government affairs and has worked at every level of government.

Chief Financial Officer

As GTECH Senior Vice President and Lottomatica Group Chief Financial Officer, Stefano Bortoli is responsible for managing the financial strategy for Lottomatica and its operating businesses. Since September 2006, Bortoli has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Lottomatica's Italian operations.
Prior to joining Lottomatica, Bortoli gained extensive experience in the aerospace industry, serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Alenia Aeronautica S.p.A. He also served as Co-Director General for Strategies, Business Development, International, and Military Sales at Alenia.
Bortoli is a Chartered Public Accountant, Chartered Public Auditor, and served as Professor of International Economics and Professor of Management and Control at Loyola University in Chicago and LUMSA University in Rome, respectively. He holds an Economics degree (Cum Laude) from Rome University La Sapienza.

As Senior Vice President of Gaming Solutions, Gerhard Burda is responsible for managing and overseeing the long-term strategic direction of the Lottomatica Group’s Gaming Solutions segment, consisting of Lottomatica subsidiaries SPIELO Manufacturing ULC, SPIELO USA Incorporated, and the ATRONIC group of companies.
Providing operational leadership for the global business unit, Burda guides Lottomatica Group’s investment in future technology and content development to achieve market leadership in the government sponsored and commercial gaming industries, as well as the identification of new market opportunities. In addition, Burda leads global market requirements process, product development and product positioning, and provides sales and marketing leadership for the domestic and international government sponsored and commercial gaming markets.
Burda has more than 20 years of gaming industry experience. Prior to joining GTECH in January 2008, Burda served as Chief Executive Officer of the ATRONIC Group of companies consisting of ATRONIC International, ATRONIC Americas, and ATRONIC Systems.
He is also a founding member of ATRONIC. Earlier in his career, Burda held several managerial positions in the European telecommunications industry. He holds an engineering degree from Graz, Austria, and is fluent in four languages.

As Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning for GTECH Corporation, Fabio Celadon is responsible for leading four primary areas of the Company – strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, asset optimization, and business evaluation.
Celadon is responsible for developing GTECH's overall corporate growth strategy, identifying and evaluating strategic initiatives, managing and executing mergers and acquisitions and evaluating and pricing business opportunities. He and his group are also responsible for defining key value drivers within GTECH businesses and then oversee operational finance and overall performance of existing operations in order to identify areas of suboptimal performance and develop turnaround plans.
Celadon joined GTECH in 2006 as Vice President of New Market Development. Prior to joining GTECH, Celadon was Finance Director of Lottomatica from 2004 - 2006, after having served as Chief Financial Officer from 2002 - 2004.
Prior to this, he was a partner with Atlantis Capital Partners, a private equity start-up. Celadon also worked for Morgan Stanley in London in the mergers and acquisitions department, and served as Finance Director of Pavo, a private Italian company. He holds a Law Degree from the LUISS University in Rome and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

Printed Products and Licensed Content Markets
|
As Senior Vice President of Printed Products and Licensed Content Markets for GTECH Corporation, Ross Dalton is responsible for defining and directing the Company's activities in the printed products, printed product content, and other non-traditional gaming markets. In addition, Dalton manages GTECH's acquisition strategies surrounding the utilization of licensed properties across the Company's business portfolio. He oversees GTECH's IGI Europrint subsidiary, helping to align its content development, sales, and marketing functions to leverage additional opportunities for customers worldwide. Dalton also manages key relationships between Technology, Global Services, Global Business Development and Public Affairs, and Marketing to build the GTECH brand in the printed products markets.
Dalton first joined GTECH in 1990 and held roles of increasing responsibility over the next 14 years, serving as Regional Vice President of Western U.S. Operations before leaving the Company in 2004 to pursue other business opportunities. He returned to GTECH in 2006 to take over his current position.
Prior to joining GTECH in 1990, Dalton served as the Communications Manager for the Kansas Lottery. From 2004 to 2006, Dalton was a principle owner of Orchard Solutions Group of Atlanta, Georgia, and Austin, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Kansas.

As Senior Vice President, GTECH Americas, Alan Eland is responsible for the Company's lottery operations in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and South America. Eland leads the Company's growth efforts to provide technology and service solutions and operational management support to clients throughout the Americas.
Eland is a senior business leader with diverse operations and sales management experience. He began his career at GTECH in 1985, and has held various roles of increasing responsibility throughout his 21 years with the Company. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager for GTECH's Gaming Solutions organization where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of Spielo and led a due-diligence team for Europe 's largest slot machine manufacturer, Atronic. As Regional Vice President, Eastern U.S. Operations, Eland managed GTECH's largest region from 1998 through 2005. Prior to that, Eland oversaw the launch of the Texas Lottery and later served as Account General Manager for GTECH Texas.
Eland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Education from Ohio State University.

Global Government Relations and U.S. Business Development |
As Senior Vice President of Global Government Relations and U.S. Business Development for GTECH Corporation, Scott Gunn is responsible for worldwide government relations leadership and strategy for the Company. He guides GTECH’s global network of government relations resources to maintain appropriate government relationships and works to develop the Company’s lines of business.
Gunn also leads GTECH’s U.S. Business Development organization to ensure that GTECH is aligned with, and positioned to support, the objectives of Company’s customers, and to pursue the most significant domestic business opportunities for the Company.
Gunn has worked for GTECH since 1994 in various positions in sales, business development, public affairs, and global operations. Most recently, he spent two years as the Vice President, Western Region Operations, overseeing activities of eight western region sites.
Gunn began his career in the late 1980s at the public affairs firm of Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly, based in Washington, D.C. Gunn was also an Associate at National Media Inc., where he worked on media strategy for state and national campaigns. While at William D. Harris and Associates in the early 1990s, Gunn managed client issues within the executive and legislative branch of state and federal government. Gunn held various positions within national and state political party organizations, and has been involved with several Presidential campaigns. He received a bachelor’s degree in Political Economics from Tulane University.

As Senior Vice President, GTECH International, Declan Harkin is responsible for the Company's lottery operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. He leads the Company's provision of technology services, business solutions, and operational management support for GTECH's international lottery clients.
Harkin has more than 20 years experience in gaming and professional IT service sectors, progressing through increasing levels of responsibility in technical, project management, business development, customer account management, and senior general management positions. Harkin joined GTECH in 1997 and most recently served as Vice President, GTECH Commercial Services, where he lead the business unit's day-to-day operations and market development. Prior to that, he served as Regional Operations Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and was responsible for the day-to-day business development and support in 18 countries.
Prior to joining GTECH, Harkin held various management roles for Electronic Data Systems in Europe and Australia.
Harkin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Queens University in Belfast and an Organizational Learning Certificate from MIT.

As Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of GTECH Corporation, Connie Laverty O’Connor helps to drive the overall strategic direction of the Company while providing strong leadership and direction to the marketing function. She is responsible for the review and enhancement of marketing processes, measurements, and information systems that are necessary to operate effectively and achieve business objectives. Connie also identifies market trends and long-range market opportunities for product development, content development, sales, and potential acquisitions.
Prior to joining GTECH in April 2006, Laverty O’Connor served as Chief Operating Officer of the Georgia Lottery Corporation. Prior to that, she spent more than 30 years with the New York Lottery; her final 14 years there were spent as Director of Marketing and Sales.
Laverty O’Connor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from Empire State College in Albany, New York, and a Master of Arts degree in English and Psychology from State University of New York at Albany.

As President of GTECH G2’s new media and sports betting division, Paolo Personeni is responsible for building a global presence in this growing market segment. Under his leadership, GTECH G2 focuses on providing technology platform and services to customers operating interactive poker, casino, bingo, skill, as well as lottery games, sports betting, and regulated multi-jurisdictional games. Main services offered include risk management, player relationship management, fraud prevention, responsible gaming, and community functions. This division is also responsible for defining and executing, in collaboration with GTECH, strategic commercial opportunities in the World Lottery Association (WLA) arena as well as in the regulated gaming markets. The acquisitions of Finsoft, Boss Media, St Minver, and Dynamite Idea form the foundation of this division.
Personeni joined Lottomatica in 2006, with leadership roles in Lottomatica’s Gaming Machines, Commercial Services, and Retail Sales businesses. During his tenure, Personeni assisted Lottomatica in reaching pivotal milestones as the Gaming Machines business evolved into one of Lottomatica’s major contributors; as the Commercial Services business was consolidated and positioned to develop further growth opportunities; and as Lottomatica’s Games and Services retail sales network merged. In 2009, Personeni assumed the role of GTECH G2 Deputy President.
Prior to joining Lottomatica, Personeni gained extensive experience in a variety of disciplines including investment banking, start-ups, and corporate restructuring, as well as having served as a partner in the management consulting firm, Bain & Company. He holds an Economics degree from the Bocconi University in Milan and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

As Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of GTECH Corporation, Michael Prescott is responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters for the Company, including legal strategy, legal compliance, litigation, regulatory matters, as well as global security.
Prescott brings more than 15 years experience in corporate law to GTECH. He most recently served as GTECH's Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, a position he has held since joining the Company in 2001. In this capacity, Prescott was principal legal advisor for corporate transactions including, among others, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances, as well as managing and implementing strategy for all litigation and regulatory matters for GTECH and its worldwide subsidiaries.
Prior to joining GTECH, Prescott was a corporate attorney at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP, where, for several years, he served as outside legal counsel to GTECH. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Northwestern University, with a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.

As Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR) for GTECH Corporation, Sheri Southern is responsible for providing the overall HR leadership and strategy to ensure that GTECH attracts, develops, and retains a talented and engaged workforce. She helps drive GTECH’s growth plans by working closely with our executive leaders. She is also responsible for Global HR operations and business-partner relationships within the Company.
Southern is a seasoned HR professional with nearly 30 years of experience in the retail operations and technology industries. Prior to joining GTECH in September of 2008, Southern was Senior Vice President, HR International, for Starbucks Coffee Company where she supported more than 68,000 employees in 42 countries.
Southern also served as the Vice President of Technology for HomeGrocer.com and Webvan Group, which was an Internet grocer that offered food, nonprescription drugs, and general merchandise to online shoppers in major cities such as Seattle, Chicago, and San Francisco.
Prior to that, Southern worked for Safeway, Incorporated, one of North America’s largest food retailers with more than 1,740 stores across the United States and Canada. She began at the store level and worked her way up the ranks to become the Director of Information Technology.
Southern served on the board of the Information School at the University of Washington. The information school tackles organizational and social issues related to the way people create, store, find, manipulate, and share information.

Worldwide Operator Business Development |
As GTECH Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operator Business Development, Federico Tasso is responsible for new operator business opportunities in the lottery, sports betting, gaming machine, and interactive markets outside of Italy. These initiatives include licensed acquisitions at public tenders; mergers and acquisitions; collaboration with existing or prospective clients; and “Greenfield” opportunities. To pursue these new business opportunities, Tasso and his team work closely with GTECH, Lottomatica’s Italian operations, GTECH G2, Gaming Solutions, and other external resources and advisors.
Tasso joined Lottomatica Group in January 2006 as Managing Director of the Commercial Services Division at Lottomatica. In 2007, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of the European Market Division where he was responsible for developing operator and business opportunities in European Countries.
Prior to joining Lottomatica Group, Tasso spent six years with GE Capital Consumer Finance (GE Money) as CEO and Country Manager for Italy. He also worked for other multinational companies in the food, branded products, automobile, and management consulting sectors.
Tasso holds a BA in Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino and an MBA from Bocconi University Business School in Milan.

As the Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Bob Vincent is responsible for managing GTECH and Lottomatica Group's internal and external corporate communications including all media and public relations activities worldwide. He will continue his support activities in compliance, investor relations, business development, marketing communications, and government relations.
Vincent is also responsible for leading the Company's corporate social responsibility efforts in the area of community relations, responsible gaming, and charitable giving.
Vincent has been with GTECH for more than 16 years, having served as an external consultant, Vice President of Business Development for Dreamport, GTECH's former gaming and entertainment subsidiary, and most recently as Vice President of Corporate Communications for GTECH Corporation.
Before joining GTECH, Vincent was a senior partner at RDW Group, a regional advertising and public relations company in Rhode Island. He also served in senior policy and administrative positions in Rhode Island government including the Governor's Office, Secretary of State's Office, and the Providence Mayor's Office. In addition, he has led community and government affairs efforts at Brown University. Vincent received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.

As Senior Vice President of Global Technology Solutions for GTECH Corporation, Matthew Whalen is responsible for the Company’s customer-facing technology organization. Whalen oversees all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, software development, implementation, customer acceptance, and ongoing software services. Whalen is also charged with tailoring the Company’s solutions to the uniqueness of the marketplace and GTECH’s customers.
Whalen began his career at GTECH in 1994 and has worked in various technology, engineering, and management positions. Previously, he was responsible for research and product development activities, enterprise architecture development, technology innovation, and hardware and network engineering. He has managed a portfolio of worldwide systems integration projects and led a team of multi-disciplinary engineers, project managers, business analysts, and financial professionals to manage the delivery of customer solutions from pre-sales support to solution design, effort-estimation, costing, RFP response, and implementation.
Whalen holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. He earned an Applied Associate’s Degree in Science, with a major in Computer Science, from the State University of New York at Morrisville.
