Lottomatica is one of the largest lottery operators in the world based on total wagers and is a leader in the Italian gaming industry. Lottomatica has built an extensive real-time, online distribution network, with approximately 190,000 terminals in 90,000 points-of-sale throughout Italy (including approximately 17,000 points-of-sale where Lottomatica provides only Processing Services for third parties), comprised of tobacconists, bars, petrol stations, newspaper stands, and motorway restaurants.

Lottery/Video Lottery:

Domestically, GTECH was awarded new contracts to provide online or instant ticket printing, services, and systems for lotteries in New York, South Dakota, Michigan, West Virginia, Kansas, Virginia, Missouri, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, while customers in California, Illinois, and Wisconsin extended their agreements with GTECH.

Internationally, GTECH, or consortia in which GTECH is a partner, received contracts and/or won procurements in Chile, the Dominican Republic, Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, China, Western Canada, and Belgium. The Company also received extensions from lottery customers in Morocco and Finland. Moreover, GTECH was chosen to provide services and solutions for the first legalized sports lottery in Taiwan and a sports-betting system in Ghana.

GTECH also received contracts and/or extensions to provide video lottery (or gaming) central systems, products, and/or services to customers in Sweden, Canada (Atlantic Lottery and Manitoba), Iceland, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.
